Server Merge Informations (English)

Hello dear Entropia Community,

the merge between the Genesis Event Server and the Main Server is coming soon and is planned for May 10.

Both servers will remain online until May 10. On that day at 20:00, we will take the servers offline for an extended maintenance period, as several adjustments are required for the merge. The servers are expected to remain offline until May 11 around 16:00–17:00, as long as there are no delays.

At the same time, we will also add new endgame content (detailed patch logs for these changes will also be published after the merge), including two completely new dungeons in Kogarashi, quests, exchanges, new item upgrades, new Kogarashi content, Adventure Passes, QoL changes, Spirit updates, and several other additions.

We decided not to release a content update on the same scale as Cardia immediately, because the amount of content could be too much for some players at once, especially during summer and considering the general playtime of our community. Since this is also the first merge ever on Entropia, content will be released in phases and only once we are fully satisfied with each part and consider it ready for release.

Due to this being our first merge, issues may still occur, and we want to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

After the content mentioned above has been added, we will continue working on the final polish for the Ruins of Desire dungeon over the following weeks. This dungeon will include a larger system that will be added alongside it.

After the release of the Ruins of Desire dungeon, further changes to the new larger continent will be worked on through the Test Server:

Kogarashi -> Kogarashi Cave -> New Continent

The exact release dates will be announced separately once we believe everything is ready to be published.

Information:

If you already have 3 characters on the Main Server and also have additional characters on the same account on the Genesis Server, you will have additional character slots after the merge. These can be accessed with arrows in the character selection screen, allowing up to 6 character slots.

Each account will also have up to 6 bank slots in-game, depending on the existing character slots. These bank slots will remain permanently accessible as long as the corresponding character slot exists.

We will not transfer characters from one account to another. This was already communicated before the start of the Event Server.

Characters from the Genesis Server that have the same name as characters on the Main Server will receive an additional word at the end of their character name. These characters will also receive an Advanced Name Change Scroll, which allows you to change your character name and check beforehand whether a name is available.

With this scroll, it will also be possible to claim character names from characters that have not logged into the server for more than 24 months.

Guild names from the Genesis Server will be reset to avoid duplicate guild names on the Main Server.

There will also be feedback forms for the Genesis Event Server, so we can learn how you liked the Genesis Event Server over the past months and what you think could have been handled better.

Item list of items that will not be fully transferred from the Genesis Server to the Main Server:

This was discussed internally and decided based on what makes the most sense for the merge. A discussion about this will not change the removal or reduction of these items.

You still have a few days before the merge to exchange your items or take the time to prepare accordingly.

Everything that is not listed below will be fully transferred.

Items that are only transferred at half quantity will be manually checked again and may be additionally reduced depending on the amount. Splitting these items across multiple characters will therefore not help. All systems that can store or hold items are affected, so it is not worth trying to split half-reduced items across characters.
