Genesis Event Server Start (English)

Dear Entropia community,

The time has finally come: the Genesis Event Server launches today at 06:30 PM (UTC+1)! Experience a fresh start in Entropia together with a large community, old friends and many new companions you will meet on our server.

1. Client download & preparation

For the launch we have uploaded a fully updated client that already includes all changes and additions for the Genesis server.

• You can download it via multiple hosts or from our Download section (links updated).
• We strongly recommend that everyone who wants to start exactly at 06:30 PM - UTC+1 downloads this new client in advance.
• During the afternoon we will also release a new launcher for the old client. However, our clear recommendation is still to use the latest full client to be safely ready on time.

2. Antivirus & VMProtect notice

Because we use encryption (VMProtect) to protect the client files against misuse on other servers, your antivirus might block the file or display a warning ("false positive VMProtect alert" – feel free to look this up if you want more details).

• If this happens, please add an exception for Neuz.exe in your antivirus:
  • Entropia\bin64\Neuz.exe
  • Entropia\bin32\Neuz.exe
• You can also whitelist the entire Entropia folder if you want to keep it simple.
• As long as you can reach the login screen before the start and see the animated Entropia logo, everything is working correctly.

3. Server selection: Genesis & Kheldor

At server start you will see two servers in the channel selection:

• Genesis [Event Server]
• Kheldor [Main Server]

If you want to play on the event server, choose Genesis. If you want to continue on the main server with your existing characters, choose Kheldor.

Please note: When you create a new character on the Genesis server, your preferred name may already be taken by someone else – we will not restore or reimburse names. No one has a permanent claim to a virtual character name in an online game, regardless of how long they have used it.

After the Genesis server is merged into the main server in May next year, affected characters will receive a random name. This also applies to guild names.

4. What happens to my characters after the merge?

5. Important note about accounts, character slots & banks

IMPORTANT: If you create a Genesis character on an account that already has a main character on Kheldor, you will not be able to play both characters at the same time after the merge.

• Genesis characters are transferred to the same account after the merge.
• You will then have more characters to choose from on the login screen, which you can switch through using the left/right arrows.
• The bank will not be expanded after the merge – you will see one bank view for character slots 1–3 and another bank view for 4–6, each with their usual three bank tabs, just like on a fresh account.

If you want to play your main character on Kheldor and a Genesis character at the same time after the merge, please create a separate account for Genesis from the beginning.

A transfer of characters between accounts will not be offered.

6. Genesis server rates & Anarchy buffs

The rates on the Genesis server are:

• EXP x2
• IP x2
• Alchemy EXP x2
• Guild EXP x5
• Drop chance x2

In addition, various Anarchy Buffs are available directly in the Anarchy Buff window and can be activated by the whole community, for example:

• Royal EXP +300%
• Drop +1
• Dove of Luck (Drop +1 outside of entry dungeons)
• …and others

7. Progression differences vs. Main Server

Some small simplifications have been added for Genesis, while others have been deliberately removed – as already mentioned in the Genesis server announcement.

With a higher player count there will naturally be significantly more drops and items in circulation. Through trading, gifting or simply because someone does not need an item for their current job, other players gain easier access to gear. This situation is not comparable to the main server, where many mid- and endgame characters already own almost everything.

The first two weeks of the first milestone are meant to be exciting for everyone while still allowing players to keep up. For this reason, certain shortcuts have been removed on Genesis, such as:

• Shiny equipment via level-up
• Certain items at NPCs that we added to the main server a few months ago

Adjustments will of course follow – roughly one week after launch or with the next milestone – if we feel that specific changes are necessary.

8. Maintenance schedule

Maintenance: Adjustments and regular maintenance usually take place every Friday or before a Milestone. Depending on the scope (Balance/Market Changes - If not possible during Live operation), they can occur between early morning and evening and typically last around 20–40 minutes (+/–), provided nothing unexpected happens.

9. New systems, content & focus during Genesis

There will be no completely new systems or large content expansions launched exclusively for the event server. The focus during Genesis is on:

• Feedback from the community
• Balance
• Fresh overall gameplay experience

You can submit suggestions as usual in the suggestion channel. Please always note whether your feedback is meant in general, for the main server or specifically for the Genesis Event Server.

Please also keep in mind: no major systems will be implemented on the Genesis server during this period, as we are working on a large content patch for the main server.

New systems or larger adjustments will be part of the upcoming content update for the main server, which is where most of our development time will go.

The server leadership will review important decisions, follow suggestions and make final calls and edits where necessary.

10. Surveys, bugs & fairness

There will also be anonymous surveys about the Genesis server, which we will run every few weeks – often combined with a small giveaway.

Bugs, exploits or unfair situations will be fixed as quickly as possible – Genesis is not a “test server with wild west rules”, but a fully fledged server with clear responsibility on our side.

12. Loyalty rewards & special thank-you

As a thank-you to loyal players we are introducing the Loyal Entropia Treasure.

All players who, between 20 September 2025 and the day of the first announcement (23 November 2025):

• reached Platinum Level 60+ or Royal Level 6+ by 23.11.2025, and
• had at least 50+ hours of playtime during that time.

receive one Loyal Entropia Treasure containing, among other things:

This chest is a thank-you for loyal players without creating an overpowered advantage. You can claim it at the start of Genesis via the updated homepage in the Account Management for one character on the new cluster.

Many things that previously could not be farmed on the main server – such as the Entropia Treasure – can now be obtained via rare drops (Magma Cave & Aurania Tempel), a premium dungeon and Perin Exchange (exchange rates will be adjusted over time).

We will not make any exceptions to the distribution, even if someone has been inactive for a longer period of time or was suspended. All test server testers who supported the Genesis server will, as a thank-you, receive this reward once on a character of their choice, with no further restrictions.

Entropia Treasures will be reduced in value by around 15% and will gradually also be offered in the Premium Shop.

13. Genesis-exclusive Blue Diamond packages

On the Genesis server there are exclusive packages for Blue Diamonds (donation currency). These packages contain exclusive Genesis server fashion with effects.

• Effect set offers are available from Platinum Level 3 & 5 and have the same effects as the farmable Gaia Set.
• Sets with stronger effects are, of course, also available in-game through regular content.
• These packages can only be purchased in-game; a notification will appear when they are available.

14. Adventure Passes

All Adventure Passes will be released again and remain active from their respective release date until 10 May 2026.

You can work on multiple passes across the season, but you can only actively progress one pass at a time. It is not possible to complete, for example, the S1 and S2 Adventure Pass simultaneously.

15. Votes & Vote Buffs

You can vote for our server up to 5 times per day.
For each vote, you receive 3,500 Vote Points on the selected server.

On the homepage, you can choose whether you want to vote for the Genesis server or the Main server. Depending on your choice, you will receive the Vote Points and the Vote Buff increase on that specific server.

Please note:
All items in the Genesis Vote Shop are bound and cannot be traded or gifted to other characters. You can only spend your Vote Points for yourself.

More than 5 votes per day are not allowed. Even if you have already used your 5 votes for the Genesis server, you may not cast additional votes on the same or a different account for either the other server or the same server – regardless of which account you use.

16. Balance Changes

We like to give you an overview of the balance changes for the Genesis Server.
There are no patchlogs for the Genesis Server as you know, but we think, that balance changes are still good to know in order to choose your class.

Templar:
Animation of Sky Splitter reduced by 30%.
Maelstrom Strike now has Spell Vamp (healing based on damage dealt).

Slayer:
Berserk buff increased to 15% Attack Speed break / 25% PvE Damage.
First Blood is now cast 30% faster.

Harlequin:
The skill Yo-Yo Mastery has been changed to 15% Cleave Chance.

Crackshooter:
The skill Fast Shot has been changed to 40% Attack Speed cap / -100% Increased Attack.
The skill Spirit of the Hawk has been changed to 10% attack range.
The skill Nature has been changed to 5% Increased Attack.
Both AoEs have been nerfed by 30%.

Seraph:
Cooldown of Holy Cross increased to 4 seconds.
The skill Breath of Life has been reworked.

Force Master:
The skill Bgvur Tialbold now has Spell Vamp (healing based on damage dealt).
The skill Bgvur Tialbold now also scales with STA.
The skill Asmodeus has been changed to 5% Boss Absorb / 10% Lifesteal.
The skill Special Knuckle Mastery has been changed to 35% HP / 20% PvE Damage.

Mentalist:
Mentalist overall -30% PvE Damage.

Arcanist:
Arcanist overall -50% PvE Damage.

We hope that helps for deciding what to play.
Some things can still be changed.

17. Other Informations

A Level Race Event will be active, where the fastest players can earn additional rewards. For Milestone 1, these items can only be claimed up to Platinum Level 30. This event does not affect the regular Platinum Level rewards from Level 5 and above.



- Xmas Events are active on Entropia until the 28th December 2025.
- The Genesis Event Server and the Main Server each have their own Top Donator ranking, including separate rewards and their own reward bar.
- The Genesis reward bar is reset monthly (the date shown on the page will be adjusted accordingly).
- Discord Nitro rewards will be available separately for each server over time.
- There will occasionally be different promo codes and giveaways for each server — Genesis and Main are handled independently.
- World Bosses may require HP adjustments depending on player strength; these values can be changed during live operation.
- For Guild Siege, there are special HP base sets and weapons available at the Guild Siege NPC. Custom-made HP sets can be stronger than these base versions.
- Further changes and details must be discovered in-game. :)

17. Our goal with the Genesis Event Server

Our goal with the Genesis Event Server is to offer you – and us – a controlled, one-time fresh start after almost five years without a wipe. We want to do this without destroying the work of past years and without abandoning the main server, as some other projects do when they open new servers.

Entropia remains a long-term project. Genesis is the origin of a new chapter, not a replacement.

We fully understand that some of you will love Genesis, while others may be sceptical or even reject the concept – and that is okay. What matters to us is that nobody feels like the main server is being sacrificed, and that we openly address your concerns.

We are taking the time to work on a larger content update instead of trying to squeeze things in “on the side”. We will use these five months together with you to find out how Entropia should feel in the future.

Important to us:

• Players who are already far into the endgame on the current main server keep their progress and therefore retain a noticeable advantage even after the merge and the update.
• Progress on the main server can continue from day one of the event server, as the main server stays online for everyone and will also receive events.
• The main server remains the heart of our Entropia project.
• For some of you, certain content will become easier after the event server merge, while for others – who start only on Genesis – things may be more challenging.

That is exactly how it should be: your long-term effort on Entropia should continue to pay off, while new players still get a fair entry and clear progression.

18. Short FAQ

Q: What happens to character slots and banks if I create Genesis characters on the same account?

You will have additional characters on the login screen, which you can scroll through with the left/right buttons. Character slots 4–6 will have their own bank view with three bank tabs, just like slots 1–3. Everyone must decide for themselves whether they want an additional character on the same account or prefer a second account to be able to play both characters at the same time after the merge. We deliberately do not show more bank pages, because this event server is planned as a one-time event. After the merge, new players should no longer be able to create characters in slots 4–6 in order not to disadvantage them in terms of bank slots.

Q: How does the loyalty reward work – can I use a different account?

The chest can only be claimed on the account that meets the main server requirements (Platinum Level 60+ or Royal Level 6 + 50 hours playtime between 20.09 and 23.11.2025). The Loyal Entropia Treasure is not soulbound and can be traded.

Q: Will weekend events from Kheldor also run on Genesis?

Yes, but only a few of them. The main server keeps the full old weekend rotation plus seasonal events.

Q: Is trading between Genesis and Kheldor allowed?

No. Trading between both servers is forbidden and can lead to a ban from the server – just like violations of any other rules listed on the website or our Discord. Bans can also be applied at the time of the server merge, as we log and handle all cases in ban waves.

Q: Can I buy the Level Boost Token for Genesis in the Premium Shop?

No. It may only be obtainable in very small amounts through events at very high endgame levels (around Royal Level 25+).

Q: Can I play on both servers at the same time with different accounts?

Yes. If you use different account IDs, you can play on both servers simultaneously.

Q: Will guilds also be merged, and what happens with duplicate names?

Yes, guilds will also be merged. If two guilds share the same name, the guild will receive a random name. This may still change if a technical solution for combining names works out before the merge.

Q: Will guild slots on Genesis remain limited to 30?

Yes. We want to avoid even more large “collection guilds” after the merge and instead spread players out more. For that reason, guild slots on Genesis remain limited to 30.

Question: Are Donate Rewards (pet, leveling package, bonus rewards, etc.) fully tradeable on Genesis?

Yes. In general, Donate Rewards are tradeable unless a specific item explicitly states otherwise (for example “soulbound”).
This means that pets, leveling packages, bonus rewards and similar items can be traded with other players or moved to your own characters via the bank.

Question: Is there any way to transfer characters created on Genesis to another account, before or after the merge?

No. Character transfers to other accounts are not allowed – neither during the Genesis Event Server runtime nor after the merge to the main server.
All Genesis characters stay permanently on the account on which they were created and will be transferred 1:1 to that same account on the main server after the merge.

Question: What can I do if the Loyal Entropia Treasure is on an account I don’t want to use for Genesis?

The Loyal Entropia Treasure is not bound and can be traded to another character.
In practice, this means you can:

• trade the chest or its contents to a different character,
• keep it for use or trading on the main server after the merge,
• as long as you do not consume the items beforehand.

This way, the reward does not “go to waste” even if you do not actively use the original account for Genesis.

Question: How does voting work and what are the limits?

You can vote for our server up to 5 times per day. For each vote, you receive 3,500 Vote Points on the server you selected.

On the homepage, you can choose whether you want to vote for the Genesis server or the Main server. Depending on your choice, you will receive both the Vote Points and the Vote Buff progress on that specific server.

Please note:
All items in the Genesis Vote Shop are bound and cannot be traded or gifted to other characters. You can only spend your Vote Points on yourself.

Important:

Question: Will there be Discord Nitro rewards for the Genesis server and the main server?

Yes. Discord Nitro rewards will be offered next week, separately for both servers.
