With a bit of luck, you can obtain a Scroll of Omega Weapons to transform Royal weapons into Omega weapons or shields (scaling with EXP and depending on your class); off-hand weapons level alongside, and leveling is done by killing Royal monsters that are at least 5 levels below or infinitely above your Royal level.
