Patch-Notes: v8.1.0.5 (English)

Hello dear Entropia Community,
in this patch you can expect some and more precise adjustments to the PvE & PvP class balance.
There were also a few community suggestions implemented and some bug fixes applied.
More updates are planned for next week.

Patch-Notes: v8.1.0.5
• The Old Templar Attack Animation in the Battleground Mode (Guild Siege, Rumble) was added.
• Object Block with Ranged Attacks was completely removed for every Job-Class.
• The HP-Rate of every Worldboss Monster was doubled.
• Every Worldboss Monster should spawn now
• All randomly appearing world bosses, now appear daily again.
• The Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Topaz Accessorie Recipe Level Requirement was lowered from 20 to 10.
• The cost of the Weapon/Equipment Reroll Scrolls was lowered in Aurania and Kebaria!
• The cost of the Black Nugget Recipes was lowered to 15 Aurania Coins.
• The Heaven of Madrigal Dungeon Endboss will spawn only if you killed every Midboss earlier.
• The Awake Highlights in the Awake Window will be saved individual for every character.
• The Items in the Recycle Window can be removed again by double clicking on the Item which you want removed again.
• The Skill "Blinkpool" was blocked in every Dungeon.
• The Anarchy Buff Icons will not appear in the PvP-Areas (Guild Siege, PvP Arena, Rumble) since they never worked there because of the Class-Balance!
• All Accessorie Keys have no HP-Effect in the PvP-Areas (Guild Siege, PvP Arena)
*The Blessed Monster Key got no effect at all in the mentioned PvP-Areas.
*The Effects should appear crossed out in the mentioned PvP-Areas.
• The Chat Window was adjusted to receive a better Performance.
• Power-Ups can be placed into the Auto Power-Up window by double clicking on the Item in your Inventory.
• Items which can be used to craft a Spirit Dice can be placed with a double click from your inventory into the Spirit Dice Window.
• You will receive more Card Boxes in the Rhisis Trail Dungeon from the last Boss Monster.
• Lowered the Price of the "Potion of the Ancestors (Power-Up Restore)" from 2000 Perin to 500 Perin.
• The Crackshooter AoE Skill should work without problems now.
• Text Adjustments and Item Description Adjustments.
• Many Clientside adjustments to cause less crashes.
*Fixed many crash errors which could happen every here and then.
• Fixed an error which caused an short Server Lag daily.


A few words about the balance on Entropia.

Hello dear players of Entropia,

we have adjusted the balance on our server over the past few days. You will learn a few things in the course of this text, including why this was necessary.

The balance has been slightly adjusted to the previous one (see Arcanist & Mentalist). 
Among other things, this was necessary because the Arcanist and Mentalist consistently do the same damage, which put the classes at a significant disadvantage in certain dungeons with lower block rates compared to the Crit classes. We hope to have fixed this now.

Entropia has different factors than other servers. Among other things, we have a hitfix that should make it easier for international users to play. Here you can find an explanation from our esteemed developer Dylan:

On Entropia there are sometimes extremely high attack speeds and the client works about 4 times faster than the world server, this causes attack processes to accumulate, in the past those that were "accumulated" were simply discarded, people with low ping who told the server accordingly often: Hey I'm attacking had little suffering from it. People with a high ping whose attack packet was discarded suffered even more.

Because of this hitfix and the old balance there were some complications with certain classes. You may have noticed these negatively due to the values that were changed (Forcemaster, Seraph) We try to prevent such large nerfs in the future, but unfortunately this was not otherwise possible here. However, the class is now at the level where it should be.

Also the hitanimation of the Templar was changed. This was necessary because of the PVP's whereby this was downgraded from 5 hits per animation to 4. Logically, he was missing damage in PVE because of this. 


Why balancing needs a longer preparation time:

First of all, we want every class to have its justification in the game. Nevertheless, it should be mentioned that every class has its advantage and not all of them can be "equal". Also, on Entropia we have several "Custom Skills" which make this even more difficult.

In addition to the custom skills, there are also game-related things that cannot be changed. For example, it has been noticed over time that the game reduces certain damage when multiple characters hit a boss. 

This can look like this (example!):

Player 1 does 20m damage per second.
Player 2 does 15m damage per second.
Player 3 does 10m damage per second.

Now it can happen because of the above explained phenomenon that this happens:

Player 2 does 15m damage per second.
Player 1 does 14m damage per second.
Player 3 does 8m damage per second. 

Of course, these are all examples and it doesn't happen as blatantly as shown here. 

However, this often leads to player 1 thinking "Oh, I do much less damage even though I have better equipment than player 2" and then blame this on the balance.
-> Rest assured that this is not because of the balance, but because of the game itself. 


"Tests" on Totems.

The tests on "dummy" totems are not meaningful. We appeal again that these are only suitable for "High Damage Test (Highest damage with one blow)". These dummies have NO stats (no block rate etc) and therefore do not give realistic results!


Balance on Entropia:

The balance on Entropia is tried to be kept as realistic as possible. Because of this, testing is done on several monsters with different block rates.
Of course, this is done in compliance with the problems explained above. For example, we avoid testing 8 characters on 1 target.

The tests are stopped over time, sometimes even recorded (otherwise with pictures) and documented in several documents. Of course, they are also performed several times to be able to exclude sources of error. (Only if 3 tests show similar results and this corresponds to what is planned, this is released) The results can be asked partly. (Also picture material is possible, if Verux approves this you will get also excerpts of it) However not everything will be published to it and ask you therefore also for understanding. 

Now we come to the test conditions for the balance.
